Orbital metastases are rare; the most frequent primary cancer is breast cancer, even more so the luminal type, in which the pathogenesis may be due to a cellular tropism caused by estrogens produced by periorbital fat; the definitive diagnosis is histological, management is palliative and the prognosis poor. We present the case of an adult, nulliparous female patient with synchronous bilateral breast cancer, who after 3 years of management presents
discomfort in her eyelids and blurred vision; imaging studies and an eyelid biopsy are performed, confirming metastasis. The case is discussed at the Medical Board and it is decided to manage with docetaxel.
